About Ben Breeze
Ben is a dedicated and passionate sport and third sector senior leader who has founded, managed and successfully developed two multi-Parliamentary award-winning charities in an 18-year career in sport, physical activity and charity development.
Ben’s work at Bristol Sport Foundation and previously at Bristol Rugby Community Foundation, used sport and physical activity education programmes to better address societal inequalities in the most disadvantaged communities in Bristol.
His work to strategically connect local and national Key Stakeholders in the sport and physical sector developed the use of a more collaborative and systemic approach in the City of Bristol, attracted new and increased third sector funding.
Ben’s work in the charity sector came after a 15-year career in professional rugby with Bristol Rugby, Newport Gwent Dragons and Exeter Chiefs, during which time he represented England and Wales.
Ben is a proud husband of 23-years to his wife Katie, and father of two daughters, Mia and Ellie. He enjoys cooking, golfing, cycling and running with the family dog, Kenny.
